Coffee; To drink, or not to drink?

How often do we ask ourselves the age old question; to drink or not to drink? We worry about the sugar, the milk and the caffeine. And with all the coffee suppliers and growers out there making all sorts of new blends that are just too irresistibly delicious……..wow, what now?!
However, we must consider the effects this has on our health. It is a well known fact that it is very healthy to drink water, and it has been said that if you drink two full glasses of water for every cup of coffee you drink, it will help to replenish what the caffeine has taken out of your system. It is also wise to take an hour every night to relax, just sit down and read something, for your body to get a chance to slow down naturally.
If you really indulge, maybe try to cut down on other caffeine filled substances like chocolate, and sodas.
A study by researchers indicates that pregnant woman can also still enjoy their coffee, but should limit themselves to one or two cups during pregnancy, as research shows that consuming this amount of caffeine does not increase the chances of a miscarriage.
I personally would not recommend to anyone to give coffee to children under the age of seven years, (my personal opinion) as it could cause them to get hyper active. Though I believe some doctors believe it may not be that harmful for (school going) children to drink it. It seems to improve their concentration and may help them to do a little better on tests for this reason. I believe it is also said that children who drink it with milk, are less likely to have depression than other children.
To come to a conclusion; anything we overdo, can be bad for us, but as long as we are responsible, I know what my decision is: I can enjoy my coffee.

ENJOY YOUR COFFEE - IT IS GOOD FOR YOU!!

It is often believed that the benefits of coffee are one of many reasons why people are energized every day to achieve success in their lives. There seem to be a lot of controversy surrounding the health benefits of coffee. Before you drink your next cup of coffee you may want to discover some of the significant health benefits you can enjoy!
The number one health benefit of drinking coffee: Increased mental awareness! Our body normally may take some time to fully become awake. Caffeine, which is found in coffee, provides that feeling of being energized in the morning. A significant improvement is noted in mental as well as emotional processes as a result of ingesting caffeine. (And to some of us, that might just mean that extra bit of productive time in a day – that extra hour?)
A correlation has been made between coffee consumption and prevention of Alzheimer's disease.  The consumption of coffee/caffeine keeps the mind stimulated and mentally engaged, while it is believed by much that mental inactivity is a significant contributor to Alzheimer's disease. I find this quite inspirational, and believe many coffee lovers would agree!
Another benefit of coffee consumption (believe it or not), is improved digestion and bowel movements. With age, the peristaltic muscles of the colon can weaken and are even susceptible to cancerous growths. Enjoying coffee on a regular basis, resulting in prolonged caffeine consumption, the body better regulates digestion and even has the ability to better prevent colon cancer.
Both regular and decaffeinated coffee also helps prevent constipation, so decaffeinated coffee drinkers are not missing out.
I am excited as the research behind the health benefits of coffee continues to reveal positive results.
